'Big Brother' blonde's self-hate misery

'Big Brother' contestant Lea Walker hated her looks so much she tried to kill herself, friends have claimed.

The blonde's pals said Lea underwent thousands of pounds worth of plastic surgery because she was so unhappy with her appearance.

The 35-year-old reportedly had breast implants, liposuction and cheek implants.

She also had permanent make-up tattooed onto her face.

One friend told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Lea should not be in there. She may appear brash and look very confident but she is incredibly vulnerable."

Sources say Lea started hating her appearance after gaining a lot of weight when she was pregnant with her son ten years ago.

One said: "She felt unattractive and depressed. After giving birth she went on a crash diet and hardly ate anything for months. She suffered from bulimia and she went down to six stone. She also lost the enamel on her teeth, which is why she had to have veneers done.

"During this time, she tried to commit suicide twice by taking an overdose. She felt she had nothing to live for at that time."
