Madonna has joined one the world's most famous and exclusive clubs -after being presented with a 'Blue Peter' badge.
The sexy singer received the honour after filming an interview on the world famous British children's TV show to promote her fourth book 'The Adventures of Abdi'.
Clapping her hands in delight as she was handed the special badge - which is awarded to viewers who write in or participate in fund-raising events - she said: "I wanna be a member of the 'Blue Peter' club. Yes! I've got a badge, I've got a badge."
Madonna, who is married to film director Guy Ritchie, is just the latest in a string of stars and dignitaries to receive a pin after appearing on the BBC programme.
Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt was given a badge after being interviewed about his role in the Disney film 'Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas'.
Other famous recipients include Britain's Queen Elizabeth,
'Shakespeare in Love' star Joseph Fiennes and TV and radio presenter Jonathan Ross.
The 46-year-old star will be seen on the show today (19-01-05) talking about how she tested ideas for her new book on her two children, seven-year-old Lourdes and Rocco, four.
