'Little Britain' dolls hit shops

'Little Britain' talking dolls are set to hit the shops in time for Christmas.

Fans will be able to buy 12-inch versions of the cult comedy characters - including Vicky Pollard, Lou and Andy, and 'rubbish' transvestite Emily Howard - for 19.99GBP.

Each doll says a variety of catchphrases, recorded by the show's stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams.

Delinquent teenager Vicky Pollard, dressed in her trademark pink tracksuit top, says: "No, doctor, cos you can only get pregnant by sitting in someone's bathwater!"

While 'the only gay in the village' Dafydd Thomas quotes: "These hotpants give me a terrible chafing."

Meanwhile, 'Fatfighters' character Marjorie Dawes will feature on a range of talking 'Little Britain' mugs and keyrings.

The new merchandise range hits the shops on Monday (19.09.05).
