Star's boyfriend proposes on romantic New Year break...

Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding is getting married to her DJ boyfriend, Tom Crane, after he proposed on New Year's Eve.

The couple were holidaying in the Maldives when Crane, 29, got down on one knee.

A spokesman confirmed that Harding and Crane were engaged, but said that no wedding date had been set.

Crane chose to share his elation via social networking site, Twitter, posting:

"A late happy new year to you all...I feel like the luckiest man in the world!!!"

The pair have been together since 2007, but split briefly in 2008.
