EastEnders bosses waiting for D Day

EastEnders producers are waiting for the right moment to bring Darren Day and Suzanne Shaw to Albert Square.

After treading the boards of the West End together, celebrity couple Darren Day and Suzanne Shaw could soon be making an appearance in EastEnders.

Producers are said to be keen to get the former hellraiser and possibly new mum Suzanne into future storylines.

It has even been suggested that they will land parts as a couple.

Suzanne, who shot to fame as a member of pop group Hear'Say, is currently starring alongside boyfriend Darren in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

"I'd love to test myself as an actress in EastEnders," she told the Daily Star.
