George Clooney wants to dress up as a woman and star in cult British TV comedy 'Little Britain'.
The heartthrob actor, who is a huge fan of the show, has begged the programme's creators Matt Lucas and David Walliams to let him play a transvestite, so he can don a frilly frock and squeal the catchline, 'I'm a laydee'.
Clooney joins a number of stars who have asked Walliams and Lucas for a guest spot on their show, including Johnny Depp and Robbie Williams.
The 43-year-old star was reportedly introduced to the comedy duo by his British girlfriend Lisa Snowdon.
She told Walliams: "I have got George into watching your show, and he absolutely loves it.
"He especially loves the lay-deez sketches and fancies putting on a dress for a part.
"I'm sure he would like to do something for you in the new series."
A BBC TV insider said pair are now working frantically to make his dream a reality and are trying to write him into a script.
