Britney Spears has found a new love - tigers.
The singer has posted a bizarre tribute to the big cats on her official website, confessing she shares the same "love, lust, danger, warmth and adventure" as the wild animals.
Britney, who is married to Kevin Federline, admits in her peculiar prose how "mesmerised" she is by the beasts.
She writes: "In some ways, people are a lot like animals. We all hunger for the same things. Love, lust, danger, warmth and adventure.
"Like people, animals all have their own rhythm to life. I'm mesmerised by tigers. Their eyes, their stripes, their constant quest for survival. They almost have a sense of mysteriousness about them.
"They pull you in and make it difficult to look away. They make you wonder what is behind their gaze. A sense of eerie awe comes over you in their presence. The fear they give you when you pass them is stunning. Behold the beauty of the tiger."
The 24-year-old star even quotes mystic poet William Blake's classic poem 'The Tiger' before beginning her piece.
The extract reads: "Tiger! Tiger! Burning bright In the forests of the night, What immortal hand or eye Could frame thy fearful symmetry?"
The entry ends with a photograph of a tiger staring piercingly ahead.
It is not the first time the 'Toxic' singer has astonished fans with a bizarre entry on her website.
In May, Britney seemingly slammed Kevin in a poem on her site.
The star - who has a son, Sean Preston, with her husband - described herself as feeling tied down in "chains" and continued with lines about feeling "manipulated" and "swallowed".
